Tip 1: Is my floor water-resistant?

Tip 2: What practical things do I need to consider?

It’s always sensible to choose a bathroom floor that comes with added slip-resistance to cutdown the risk of slips. All of our floors have a degree of slip-resistance, so they can be used in the bathroom safely. If you want a little extra reassurance though, look out for added slip-resistance – called the R rating – as a feature of your floor. Anything R11 or above is considered extra slip-resistant.

Tip 4: How big is my bathroom?

It’s a mistake that’s made all too often. Find the perfect bathroom flooring look only to find that you bathroom’s just a little too cosy to show it off properly. It’s important to consider the size of your room and the pattern size of the design.

Smaller planks or tiles will have the effect of making your bathroom feel spacious. However, if your bathroom is large with plenty of floor area, you might want to consider a larger plank or tile design to bring a sense of proportion. All-overs design like terrazzo or mineral looks can bring a funky look and will eliminate any worries about how big your room is.
