Colour palettes

There’s been a huge buzz for Peach Fuzz predictions, but colour can evoke a very personal emotion, so if pastel tones are not your vibe, then consider taking a trip to the DIY aisle and sourcing a few paint cards that you think would suit your home. One tip we would recommend is to consider the lighting in your home. While light blues may look fabulous on a colour swatch, they can appear very cold and unwelcoming in a space where natural light is minimal.

Future proof

Future proofing your style can seem like a tall ask. After all, we never know what styles and influencers may effect our interiors. You can take some practical steps to make sure that you can cut down on the amount of times you are revamping your home. Choose neutrals and take time to select the right floor and finishes for each room. Consider how you use your home, for example, do you have a lot of traffic in certain areas (hallways and stairs are an example). If that’s the case, make sure you’re choosing the right materials that will cope with the extra foot fall.
